The FSSC 22000 certification is a certification method developed by the Foundation Food Safety System Certification about food safety in order to create a standard that allows a highest food safety in the supply chain.

The FSSC 22000 certification is based on independent standard as ISO 22000, on technical specification regards prerequisites program PRPs and additional requirements is recognized by GFSI Global Food Safety Initiative all over the world.

The GFSI has the aim to guarantee the food safety of the entire food chain, to control all the risks and reinforce the end user protection.
